WHY EXERCISE?

I am sure everyone of us has heard from our parents, grandparents to wake up early in the morning and practice yoga or go for a run or simply exercise. Also most of us must have seen on social media people posting their lockdown fitness stories, But ever wondered why? What's the need to workout, come out of our comfort zone , put our body through a bit of stress. Like isn't doing household chores enough exercise ?

Well the answer to this is no, household chores are way different from exercise

One exercises in free time for leisure. When you exercise,


your body releases chemicals such as dopamine and endorphins in your brain that make you feel happy. Not only is your brain dumping out feel-good chemicals, but exercise also helps your brain get rid of chemicals that make you feel stressed and anxious. Also it helps to

-Increase muscle strength and balance

-Protects against chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes

-Weight Management

-Improve heart conditions

-Enhance sleep quality

-Reduce anxiety and depression

-Combat cancer related fatigue

-Increase life span
